How I Approach Systems
A short brief on how architecture decisions get made before a single line of business logic is written.
I think in systems, not screens. Before writing a single endpoint, I want to know what breaks first under load, where the state lives, and how the system behaves when a downstream dependency disappears mid-request.
My interest sits at the intersection of backend engineering, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure — the layer where correctness, latency, and failure modes actually get decided. I care about idempotency, backpressure, and the boring parts of reliability that never make it into a demo.
Recently I've been extending that toward AI infrastructure — treating LLM calls as just another unreliable network dependency that needs retries, timeouts, and observability, not magic.

Build For Scale
Design for 10x load even in a fresher-scale project.
Observability
If it isn't logged and measured, it isn't in production.
